Re-Envision Membership

Why do we need to?

Currently our membership is around 210 people.  That’s less than half of those who regularly attend here.  Out of those 210 only about 80-90 serve in some ministry capacity, which is about 40%.
For us, membership is not just about a list that you are on but rather a partnership.  It’s a commitment to the people and mission of the church.

What's our plan?

We believe that renewing our membership on an annual basis will help develop the partnerships needed to create a healthy, strong and effective church. Every year we are going to ask people to recommit themselves to membership as we seek to pursue the vision and mission of this church.

Re-Envision Discipleship

Why do we need to?

As the elders examined discipleship within the church we recognized there are very limited and fragmented discipleship pathways for people to grow as followers of Christ.   We believe that we need to offer additional discipleship pathways, which target specific topics or themes that are critical for the spiritual health and growth of our people.

What's our plan?

We plan to create new discipleship pathways which include courses like, Foundations of Faith, Marriage, Parenting, Financial Peace, Biblical World View, and other Doctrinal studies and relevant teaching which will help grow and strengthen us as a faith community.  We want to do this so we can be stronger and more effective in pursuing the mission and vision of the church.

Re-Envision Community

Why do we need to?

God has designed the church to be a community of believers who are relationally connected and committed to each other.  Currently, we are not structured in a way where we can foster deep relationships while studying scripture and pursuing the mission of the church.

What's our plan?

We are going to address this by starting Community Groups this next fall.  These groups will provide the structure where people can Apply the Bible to Life, Build Relationships, Care for Each other and Serve together.  These groups will happen in people’s homes at different times and locations.  Over the next year will be building all the infrastructure necessary to do this well.  We need to be a community of faith that is connected relationally.

Re-Envision Campus

Why do we need to?

The reason is really two-fold which includes the growth of our church as well as the maintenance of an aging building.  As we have grown we have run out of adequate space for many of our discipleship needs and our campus is aging and has several immediate needs that must be addressed.

What's our plan?

We are going to try and raise $600,000 over the next 6 months starting in October.  It will allow us to put a new roof on the worship center, kids wing and foyer, put the top coat on the entire driveway and parking lot, upgrade our network, purchase a generator, purchase a new sign, address the many and ongoing issues in the carriage house and Barn as well as pay off the existing mortgage.  The goal is to be in a position to plan ahead for what we believe God still wants us to accomplish on this campus.
